Job Title : Contract Testing and Validation Assistant
Work Location: SEWS – Farmington Hills, Michigan (On-site position)
Work Hours : Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Shift : 1st Shift
- This is a 3-month contracted position with possible renewal and expectations to work 40 hours/week.
- This is a non-exempt position, paid hourly, and eligible for additional hours as necessary.
Basic Purpose:
Support on crimp validation activities within the Testing & Validation Department.
This is a new position due to the increase for the workload for Ultrasonic validations and new program launch activity.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Database entry (from excel to an internal software)
- Shipping and receiving.
- Separate wires for testing and for other activities.
- Measure terminal CH, CW, VH, VW using micrometer.
- To confirm wire insertion into connector cavities.
- Update inventory of wires/connectors using excel.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- We are looking for a motivated individual with positive attitude who is willing to learn and will fit in the existing group. Training will be provided.
